The suturing part is very essential, yet very difficult to us surgeons. It’s a bit exaggerated, but when we are closing the flap，the suture needle goes in and out the flap in multiple directions.
At the moment, we need is not only a clear vision but also a spacious space. Otherwise, the tongue will be quite interrupting, and it might get hurt when hitting the suture needle. Therefore, we normally spend a lot of time dealing with the tongue.
